Beulah Lorada Mills Shuemake was born on June 23, 1927, in Spanishburg, West Virginia. She died peacefully in her sleep at the Bowers house on May 19th, 2022. She was the last child born of Thelma McComas-Mills (1903-1970) and John "Johnny" Corbit Mills (1898-1939). She was preceded in death by her son Stephen W. Snuffer (July 22, 1956- July 15, 2018) and the following siblings and one grandchild with whom she adored: Lorena Shelma Mills-Walker (1922-1964), Corbit Keaton Mills (1924-1974), Allene Mills-Cummings (1927-2013), Gloria Mallamas (July 7, 1923 – July 26, 2017), grandson, Richard Stephen Snuffer (July 18, 1971-February 2, 2021), devoted daughter-in-law, Melanie Stump Snuffer.
Beulah is survived by her granddaughter, Stephanie Snuffer Geneseo and husband Arlan,from Chesapeake, OH and their children :Justin Geneseo (Ashley) from Chesapeake , OH , Joseph Geneseo, (Mattie) from Columbus, OH.; grandson : Brian Snuffer of Beckley, WV and his children Samantha Trump and her children (Blake and Ashton Trump), Haleigh and Payton Snuffer,, Richard Stephen Snuffer’s wife, Robin and daughters : (Charletta Benedict, and her daughter Caleigh of Bushwood, MD, Jessica Wills and her children (Gunner and Alyssa), Beckley, WV, Autumn and Aaliyah Snuffer, and step-son Dakota Gillam., Beckley, WV;
Beulah spent her life working and retiring from the VA Medical Center in Beckley, WVA where she was employed as a Telephone Operator. She spent her remaining life dedicated to serving her son, Stephen W. Snuffer, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Beulah loved family history and family stories and followed her Patriartichal blessing to dedicate her life to family history through Temple genealogy guidance.

Beulah has directed that she be cremated, and her ashes placed in an urn and laid to rest at the Keaton Mills Family Cemetery. There will be no visitation or service scheduled.
May Beulah forever rest in peace in this little country cemetery that meant so much to her.
