Betty Wilson

Betty Sallack Wilson peacefully passed away on December 17, 2022.  She was born April 23, 1936 to Wanda and Glenn Sallack. 

She is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Marshall University and WVCOGS.  In 1957, she married the love of her life, George R. Wilson.  They have one child, Rebecca Wilson-Bartock and one grandchild, Brendan Campbell Bartock. 

Betty taught elementary music education at Maxwell Hill Elementary School.  Upon retirement, she taught at Concord University.  She was an accompanist at Beckley Presbyterian Church, United Methodist Temple, Beckley Community Chorus and numerous other organizations. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wanda and Glenn Sallack.  She is survived by her husband, George Wilson; daughter, Rebecca (Eric) Bartock; grandson, Brendan Bartock; sister, Barbara Southern; nephew, Patrick (Heidi) Southern and sister-in-law, Carol Hess Wilson.

Services will be 1pm, Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum #3 with Dr. Steve Gedon officiating.
