Betty Sue Rose

Betty Sue Rose, 83 of Beckley passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018.
Born March 7, 1934 in Tams, WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Pearl Ethel Blevins Rose. Betty was much loved at Acme Supermarket, where she worked for many years, and also at her home church, Bible Baptist. She loved the Lord and spent her retirement reading the Bible, praying, listening to sermons, cooking and visiting with family and friends. She was a source of joy to everyone who met her, even until her last breath.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Claire Placidi, Rita Rose; brothers, Ronnie and Johnny Rose.
She is survived by sisters, Eldine Crockett of NC, Christine Craver (Larry) of VA, Clementine Clevinger (George) of VA; brother, George Rose of NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dave DeCarlo officiating. Burial will follow in the Hot Coal Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1 pm until time of service on Friday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
