Betty Lou Scott, aged 61, a resident of Colcord, WV, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2024.

She was born on September 4, 1962 in Charleston, WV to the late Raymond “Wilkie” Thompson and Freda Bryant Quigley of Charleston, WV.

Betty dedicated her life to being a loving homemaker and found solace in her faith as a member of the Sycamore Free Pentecostal Church. Her passion for reading the Bible was a source of comfort and inspiration throughout her days.

Betty leaves behind a legacy of love cherished by her husband, George Scott; her children Cassie Wilson (Chris) of Daniels, WV, Andrea Dixon (Matt Campbell) of Charleston, WV, Chaz Dixon (Shawna) of Spencer, WV, Christopher Dixon of Marmet, WV; and her adored grandchildren Lana, Greyson, Cruize, Canaan, Carter, Zachery, Jillian, Kyler, Kaiden, and Sarah. She is also survived by her sister Angel Stover of Colcord, WV; nieces Shanit Foley and Jessica Stover of Colcord,WV; nephew Rocky Stover of Dorothy,WV; and great niece Kendall Cooper of Colcord,WV
