Betty Lee Brown

Betty Lee Brown, 88, of Elyria, OH, formerly of Glen Daniel, WV passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Born April 29, 1926 in Glen Daniel, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Corbett and Dorthy Faye Wahls Webb. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Austin C. Brown; brothers, James L. and Richard Webb and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Webb.
Betty was a retired machine operator for Cleveflex in Cleveland, OH.. She was a member of St. Clair Rebecca Lodge #207, Elyria, OH, past noble of Deborah Rebekah Lodge I.O.O.F, Glen Daniel, WV, V.F.W. #3341, Grafton, OH and served as an officer with U.PW. Local #443 in Cleveland, OH.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Sue Montano and husband Rudy of Elyriam OH; son, Dana Wayne Brown and wife Ruth Ann of Sheffield Lake, OH; grandchildren, John L. Johns, James Wayne Johns, Corey Brown, Tobey Brown, Hallie Brown; 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and sisters, Merion Hurd of North Royalton, OH and Elsie Snuffer of Parma Heights, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2015 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Snuffer officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Daniel Community Church Cemetery at Glen Daniel. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Monday.
