Betty Joe Amick, 71 of Beaver, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019.
Born November 25, 1947 in Belle County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Andy and Maxine Hunt Gambrell.
Betty was a homemaker and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Michael and Kenneth (Greg) Amick; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Givens (Johnny) of Heaters, WV; sons, William (Kim) of Clinton, SC, Donald of Eccles and Joseph (Shaunna) of Beaver, WV; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Agnes Tyree of Hickory, NC, Bonnie Tingler and Patricia Asbury of Coal City, WV and brother Andy Ganbrell of NC.
Services will be 12 pm Monday, July 29, 2019 at Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church, Brethren Rd, Crab Orchard, WV with Pastor Roger Tolliver officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services on Monday.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Corner Stone Freewill Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
