Betty Barbara Buckland

Betty Buckland, age 90, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019.
Betty was born in Forchheim, Germany. Her parents were Michael Vogel and Barbara Kupfer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Master Sgt. (USAF) Billie B. Buckland.
Betty is survived by her son, Henry and his wife, Paula; brother, Gerhard Stockinger and wife Else, granddaughter Barbara Ann Conner and husband Chris, and granddaughter Robin Martin.
One of Betty’s greatest legacies is her loving years of service in the nursery and Day School at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, March 20, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Calfee Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 21, 2019 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Beckley. Interment will follow at Calfee Cemetery at Mt. Tabor.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Aaron Whitt for the care he provided Betty. He has truly been a godsend.
