Benny Greco

Benny A. Greco, 78, of Beckley, died Saturday, April 11, 2009 in a Beckley hospital following a long illness. He was born in Chicago, IL September 7, 1930, the son of the late Mary Greco. Benny was a retired truck driver, a member of Faith Baptist Church and the Chicago Truck Drivers, Helpers and Warehouse Workers Union. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis. The family would like to give a special thanks to the 6th floor staff at the VA Hospital.
Survivors include sons; Robert and Eugene Greco, Step-daughters; Brenda Tinerella and Linda Klika and husband Richard, step-son, Benny Howard, sister, Caroline Macciocchi, brother, August Greco and wife Agtha, several nieces and nephews including nephew Tommy Macciocchi, granddaughters; Mychelle Howard, Amanda Howard, Samantha Kiser, Ashley Tinerella, great-granddaughter, Alissa Howard, cousin, Ralph Devartolo and wife Helen,,brother and sister-in-law, Blue and Shirley Ellis and beloved friends; Pastor Steve Davis, Dollie Roach, Benjamin Howard, Louie Bojorno, Jimmy Lee, Dolly Rusnick.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Davis and Pastor Larry Halsey officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to service on Wednesday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Faith Baptist Church
