Beatrice Dare Farr

Beatrice D. Farr, 91, of Lester, WV, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014. Born August 8, 1922 in Otsego, WV, she was the daughter of the late William Amos and Ollie Bailey Tolliver. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Carl S. Farr; sister, Margaret Meadows and brothers, John and Malcolm Tolliver.
Beatrice was a homemaker and grandma. She loved to garden and was a member of the Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church in Crab Orchard. She had been a long time resident of Lester.
Survivors include her sons, David (Dusty) and Scotty Farr and wife Diana of Lester; grandchildren Sherry, David , Tammy, Buffy, Walter Scott and Elizabeth; brothers, Max Tolliver of Ft. Myers, FL and Lee Tolliver of Franklin, VA; niece, Dorothy Cochran and husband Jeff of TN; a very special friend, Teressa Tessaro and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger Tolliver officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service on Wednesday. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens
