Barbara Gail Stewart

Barbara Gail Stewart 72 of Mount Hope WV. She was born on August 27, 1952 in Glen Daniel WV. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 5, 2025 at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown WV. The staff took amazing care of her there in her final moments of this life’s journey.

Barbara known as Aunt Bobbi to her loved ones that she cherished. Left this world to join her family members that’s she missed so much. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Edward Toney and Lula Faye (Sauls) Toney. She also was preceded in death by her siblings, sisters Sharon Elaine Toney, and Alice Faye Toney; brothers Mitchell Brian Toney and Delbert Lawrence Toney.

She is survived by two nieces and one nephew. They are Rebecca Toney McDonald of Lexington NC, Elizabeth Faye Toney of Beckley WV, and Lawrence John Toney and his wife Karen Marie Toney of Wilsondale, WV.

Mrs. Stewart was blessed with many great nephews and great nieces, Steven and Gloria McDonald of Mabscott, WV, Samantha and Hayden Everhart of Lexington, NC, Ryan McDonald of Lynwood, NC, Cristopher McDonald of Lexington, NC, Dallas and Brittany Toney of NJ, Megan Toney and Nathan Lesher of Oak Hill, WV, Katelin Allen of SC, Natalie Toney of Wilsondale, WV, and Damien Toney of Wilsondale, WV.

Aunt Bobbi was blessed with many great great nephews and great great nieces. They are Michael Dennis McDonald and Steven Thomas McDonald, III of Mabscott, WV, Anthony Elijah Everhart and Joshua Wyatt Everhart of Lynwood, NC, and Brooklyn Jade Toney of NJ.

She also leaves behind her very cherished and well loved cat Blondie. Also, a host of friends that she loved very much. We thank them for all they have done for her throughout these last few years of her life. We also thank the staff at Fresenius Kidney Care and the staff at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital for giving her the best care.

Barbara Stewart will be having a private family memorial service at The Miller Family Cemetery in Arnett WV.
