Allene India Stanley

Allene India Fanning Stanley, 82, of Bud, WV, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021. Born July 5, 1939, at Page, WV, she was the daughter of the late Fred Eldridge and Adrian Woolwine Fanning.

Allene loved working puzzle, dot to dot and number books. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and watching cooking shows.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stanley, brothers, Aden (Ted), Frank and Marvin Fanning and brother-in-law, Elmer Kinder.

She is survived by daughter, Jamie Allene Stanley of Mullens, WV; son, Raymond Allen Stanley and wife Hope of Bud, WV; twin sister, Alice Kinder of Tannersville, VA; sister-in-law, Madelain McKinney of Bud, Wv; several nephews, nieces and cousins and friend and caregiver, Karen Cogar of Mullens, WV.

Services will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2021, in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Underwood officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday in Sunset Memorial Park.
