Alexander George McQuain

Alexander George McQuain, 84 of Beckley passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019.
He was the son of the late Rev. Samuel Wayne and Nola Lewis McQuain.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
George retired at 62. He was the former owner of Gentry Men’s Shop and following his retirement he worked at Beckley Feed and Hardware.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol ; daughter, Kimberly Pack and husband Mike of Beckley; son, Phil McQuain and longtime girlfriend, Mary Cerullo of Midlothian, VA and grandson, Logan Pack of Radford, VA.
Services will be 1 pm Saturday, July 13, 2019 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doc Adkins and Pastor Bill Parker officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11 am until service time on Saturday.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr, Beckley, WV 25801.
