Alberta Moore

Mrs. Alberta Moore, 84, went home to be with Jesus and her family Nov. 2, 2011, at her home in Rock Hill, SC.
Born in Simon, WV, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Bryan and Lennie Morgan Kenneda. In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years ,Clifford G. Moore and two sons Carroll and Darrell Moore. Three sisters, Atlas Morgan, Parlie Harper, and Maxine Harper.
Alberta retired from Ramada Inn on Harper Road after seventeen years. She was a member of the Cool Ridge Freewill Baptist Church where she had many dear friends.
Alberta is survived by her daughter Freda Hood and husband Johnny. Two grandchildren Brian Hood of Rock Hill, SC and Denise Holland of Rock Hill, SC. Two special Great-grandchildren, Dylan and Mackenzie Holland of Rock Hill, SC. Alberta is also survived by a brother Jinnings Kenneda of Simon, WV, four sisters, Wanda Cook of Simon, WV, Linnie Lawrance and husband Norman of Simon, WV, Sueann Lester and husband, Clarence of Hanover, WV, and Doris Wingler of Williamson, WV.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens in Matheny, WV. The family will receive friends from 11 am to service time on Saturday.
Nephews will serve a pallbearers
