Aaron Joel Bryce Sopher, born January 24th, 1994, passed away at the age of 28 on April 20th, 2022. Though he left this world far too soon, he left this world a better place.
Aaron was proud of his accomplishments, including recently becoming a Licensed Electrician, and found tremendous pleasure in hard work. He was an excellent athlete and participated in little league baseball, basketball and swimming, and especially enjoyed his seasons on the Shady Spring High School soccer team. He was at home in the outdoors and was always ready to “shred” on his skis or take a float down the river.
Cherishing Aaron’s memory are his parents, Suzette Peterson (and Jeffrey) and Joel Sopher, brothers Adan Peterson, Bryce Sopher and Jacob Sopher, his grandmother Eva Crouch, uncles Frank Crouch (and Frances), Ike Crouch (and Linda), Keith Crouch (and Patricia), Tom Sopher (and Teresa), aunt Edith Devernja (and Bob) as well as cousins, Brad Crouch, Anisha Crouch, Rob Devernja, Mike Devernja, Max Sopher (and Wendy) and Tucker Sopher, Kate Sopher.
Aaron will be laid to rest on Friday, April 29th, 2022. The family will receive visitors at Calfee Funeral Home from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm with service to commence thereafter. Burial at Sunset Memorial Park will immediately follow service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Life House, www.thelifehousewv.com
